I'd love to help. I don't believe I've ever been on Cable trail. Not certain of the area's needs. With more info I can plan accordingly.

Was there any discussion about SacUp? I was just there yesterday and it was the worst I've ever encountered. Seems to be be a need for rocks (perhaps transplanted for further down hill) at where I believe the beginning of SacUp lies.

Thanks for all of your work in keeping Reiter open.

Rick, the last couple have been there and it is NOT getting us anywhere as far as blocking the areas that are NOT the trail.

I can only guess where you are talking about, But I would be willing to go with ya to see where you are talking about.

The spot I'm talking about doesn't have any bypasses. When you enter 4w130 from Reiter Rd you make a right to keep going up hill, another right to keep going up hill and pass under the powerlines. Then you take a left to head back into the woods and another right. It is this corner I'm referring to.

It looks like some group had previously laid down a bunch of 10-20 lb rocks to reduce erosion. Just up trail (east) of those rocks there was a few slick roots, but nothing that required erosion control. The soil must have become saturated and then had a fair amount of traffic as it has been dug up. I could send pictures if it would help.

If there aren't any immediate plans for SacUp perhaps I can relocate some stone from around the trailhead?

I think i know where you are talking about, there is a tree on the left going up a knole and an old stump on the right where a person could get some body damage. I had to winch up thet spot due to getting stuck and the slick mud too. It seams like like someone with open axles tried it 20 times and dug the crap out of it.

Just leave it, does it need to be paved so the open diff rigs can get in to use the go-arounds?

After learning that it is private land. I say we leave it to the vultures. There are spots that need maintenance. But it's getting out of hand.

Both me and 90InvisoHeep plan on being there. If anything, we can get to the bottom of cable and walk up.

I did say this on the NW-Wheelers forum as well.

I would like to take a minute and Thank Everybody for showing up and helping out, We even had David Way from the DNR helping out as well. We spent about 4 hours putting up some blockades in the middle of the Cable trail. We did leave the 2 main lines going up the hill but blocked off the cross betweens. The hambergers and hot dogs along with chips and drinks that Rhonda and Kat provided went well, They used about 15 hot Dogs and 20 hamburgers.

Hope everybody had a good time and is all dried out.

I was wondering, because the guy who called the work party didn't show up, should he get banned from this thread?

J/K Karl. Nice truck. Um I'm moving soon. Can I borrow it?

Thanks again to all and for the food. It was a blast.

Oh man I hurt in places I didn't even know I had.....
