Main forum page problems?

Crash, when I go to the main forum page it looks as if it does not accept my log in or that I am not logged in. But when I go to a specific forum, I get the "Howdy, Comet" box. So it doesn't log me out, but it just looks that way.
Also, it looks like I have not visited the site (unread threads), but in fact I have.

yeah same here...and i cant get to the secret area as the main page does not show me logged in???
