930AM main parking area.
We will be repairing storm damage to the trails. If anyone has a military style trailer they can haul behind thier rig, or a 4x4 pickup truck that can haul a load of rock on a TRAIL. Please bring them.
Thanks. Questions fielded here.

Crap--I won't be able to make it--I gotta work
ok feedback time.
i talked with Karl saturday after they surveyed the damage. he said no way without some heavy equipment. best efforts to just make it safer will take massive amounts of work and resources.
glen mentioned a tree bridge id be very careful with that idea as liability could be bad.
kat stated the upper end of the existing culvert was burried. would it be possible to dig it out?
was it rotten or could it be dug out, repositioned, then filled over?
Karl stated it can be driven, but one slip and your going for a long ride down the ravine. possibly just make it a winch area? un-enforceable.
Glen Karl ideas?

Leave it as is until either:
1. The DNR helps provide some heavy equipment/supplies to fix it, or
2. We get enough donations to cover the cost of fixing it properly. That Elbe pay pal thing seems to be working out...
Can and will the DNR provide any guidance on how it should be fixed?
Stupid people do stupid things, you will not be able to control who tries to get past and the possible aftermath. The only solution for that is a temporary closure until it is fixed.

A big problem is getting any heavy equipment to that point with the amount of damage to the trail.
As for fixing it I feel we can fix it with very little funds--its the man power we need....

i agree, i dont think it will cost us anything but time, karl knows people with tractors and we can use supplies already on the trail to fix it no funds needed

Karl says it needs heavy equipment to fix. Mike is saying that you can't get heavy equipment in there to fix it.
So what's the plan? Wheelbarrows filled with rocks?
