it is fir sure. we are still figuring out what areas we are going to work on but it is on for sure.

Questions(when you can answer)

What tools are needed?
Plan for the day?
Rigs?
Winches?
Chain saws?
Loppers/prunners?

shovels and picks. chain saws may be needed . bring them if you want but that doen not mean they are going to get used.

rigs not needed at this time i think we have that covered but i will let you know as soon as i do. is there a winch on your rig eric?

Yes I have a winch on the front of my 4runner. Its been used before and I dont mind using it some more.

Just need to borrow a snatch block again.

Lets hope that DNR can have the final plan together be the end of the weekend for we can get the info out.

We will meet at 9:30am in the main gravel lot. There will be a safety talk and volunteer orientation. This will be a Restoration effort and will require digging in logs for waterbars, dragging branches into trail surfaces, transplanting vegetation.

Please bring if you can:

Hard Hat
Safety Glasses
Ear Plugs
Glloves
Boots
Shovels
Pick Mattock or Pulaksi
Small SledgeHammers
Rain Gear
Water and Food for the day

**Chaisaws may only be used by DNR aproved personel with the proper safety gear (Hard hat, face shield, ear muffs, chaps, etc.)

So I just checked the weather by the walk outside and look check
It's cold but not bad, NO SNOW, I can see stars and the doppler is clear on the computer

So the myths that we are working in the snow are bogus. It is 38 at my house so it isn't freezing out
