I just found this on DNR's site, I don't know if there's still room or not, I sent David an email. Maybe he'll have time to discuss tonight.




Train to become a forest watch volunteer in Reiter Foothills Forest

9 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m.
Location: TBD

Free training for those interested in helping to improve public safety and protecting the environment in Reiter Foothills Forest in eastern Snohomish County. For more information, contact David Way by 4 p.m., January 11, at 360-854-2830 or david.way@dnr.wa.gov.

I sent David Way an email regarding this some time back, but have never gotten a reply.

I was going to ask him about it at the meeting tonight.

you had to reply to David by Monday to get in. I will talk to him and see if there is still room, I have the work party at elbe the same day so I cannot make it, burt there will be another one in march.

Christine Redmond had a list with her at the meeting last night of the people signed up for this training. She said it would be the same training that The Shocker and I went to back in Nov 2009, so I will talk to David Sunday and see if Mike "High Five" can take my place on the list if he is not on it. Other wise I will repeat the training.

there will be another one in march as well just to let people know, i will be attending that one.

I love how public they make this stuff, i never got any annoucments or anything asking if you wanted to take the class....
