Hello RTW!

I will not be able to make your meeting this month either. The one thing I might add to the discussion is that the DNR has some a new flyer specific for the things happening at Reiter from now until summer. Crash posted it on NW Wheelers. If anyone plans on doing E and E hours, that would be a great flyer to pass out to folks. It would be nice to try and get one on every car/truck parked out there on the weekends. I am also going to attach a deal to the Kiosk sign board that will hold updates, flyers, and other stuff.

I want to thank you all again for your hard work. The Clean-up was a big success! Our signs and sani-cans seem to be holding up well so far. We have been recieving a lot of comments about the closure of the gate next to the gravel parking area, but I still anticipate it being shut soon.

I understand that RTW is planning on revamping the barrier at the top of the Wall for this months work party. If that changes, keep me informed on where you will be working. I will not be at Reiter this Sunday May 17th. It is likely that I will try and organize a large work party at Reiter prior to July. Please stay tuned and I am open for input as always.

Thanks again!

Hi All:

Sorry, I won't be able to make the meeting this evening either.

Can someone post up minutes of the meeting on Thursday?

Thanks.

Alan

I didn't take roll call, however officers present were Kat (JKKat)and Don (SpiderToy).

~Kim Gunter brought file folders full of handouts (Charlie dropping them off at Crash's on his way home) I have asked Kim to send me e-copy of same forms so we can post them.

~Increased patrols have resulted in 4 citations on Saturday and sending 2 groups home.

~If you see problems call 911, especially at night. All calls are logged this helps for getting increased enforcement out there.

~Finalizing RTW pamphlets and getting them printed has been assigned to me(working on them as soon as minutes are done)

~Crash is wanting to get another work party together for work on Wall Trail gate. Date TBD.

~Volunteers for RTW booth (pop up and banner with fliers) needed for CORE event May 30th.

~Non-profit 501(c)(3) status is still non-existant, do we know anyone willing to take over that project? Current person assigned with the task cannot complete it due to time issues.

~It has been brought up that E&E needs to be done EVERY weekend and hours to be logged with Kim (RTW owes 490 at present)

~Possible RTW Kiosk (pop-up and banner) be setup and manned each weekend at least during the increased enforcement period (May-June)
(Kat is willing this Sunday 05-17))

~Memorial Day weekend (23-24-25) RTW should show a strong presence at Reiter.
(I have promised Saturday the 23rd for my time, Charlie (No-Wires) willing to accompany me, we still need people to get involved)

~Perhaps another meeting between now and then to rally the volunteers for that weekend?

~Attendance was dismal, (12 people) but thanks to all that took the time from your busy schedule to be there last night

Hi All:

Thanks "Kool" for the update!

I am willing to volunteer for the RTW kiosk. Not sure about availability for Memorial Day weekend though.

Regarding the non-profit 501 (c) (3) status - if the group wants to go that way I would be willing to take on that project. Let me know if interested.

Regards,

Alan

I have the flyer, it has a bogus email address on it.
Mike (Crash) was going to see about setting up a valid one.
I may just put some 'useful links' there instead.

That's great Alan, see if you can get a hold of Don (SpiderToy) to see what he has on it already. Try a PM; if that doesn't work let me know and I'll get you two hooked up.
